What is the NPL?
The National Players League (NPL) is a strategically designed, regionally based national platform that aims to provide top-tier competitive opportunities for youth soccer players while minimizing the travel burdens on families. By organizing competition at the regional level, the NPL ensures that players can participate in high-caliber matches without the strain of frequent, long-distance travel, making it a more accessible and sustainable option for all involved. With divisions for boys and girls from U13 to U19, the league draws the best teams from across the country, fostering a challenging atmosphere that pushes players to reach their full potential.
Beyond player development, the NPL is committed to equipping clubs with the tools and best practices needed to facilitate an optimal youth soccer experience. This support extends to players, coaches, families, and referees, ensuring that every aspect of the game is elevated to the highest standards of excellence.
A highlight of the NPL season is the National Championship event, known as the NPL Finals, held annually in Colorado. This prestigious tournament brings together league qualifiers from across the country to compete for the title of National Champion in each age group, providing a thrilling conclusion to the season and a coveted achievement for the winning teams.

The NPL will serve youth soccer by forming and collaborating with leagues, adopting the Player's First philosophy and supporting US Club Soccer's mission to foster the development of clubs.
